YachtOur Marine Division draws on over 25 years experience in supplying items for the marine industry following the successful acquisition and integration of Dollco (Hull). The manufacture of Dollco products continues in our works to supply the full range of weathertight and watertight doors and hatches. We also provide a full range of marine ventilators, bollards, manholes and other small marine fabrications including masts and aluminium wheelhouses, stainless steel hydraulic tanks and ladders.

We supply items complete or as component parts and spares to ship builders, ship repairers, luxury yachts, cruise ships, ferries and the offshore industry worldwide.

Point is the exclusive UK licensed manufacturer of Hellbergs International doors and UK agent for the AP Marine range of pneumatic and electric drive systems. We have fostered links with other door manufacturers in the worldwide market to source and supply doors to meet your individual requirements.

hellbergs Hellbergs Marine Doors are tested to IMO Res. 754(18)/FTP Code Part 3. Marine doors are EC Type Examination certified and approved by classification societies such as ABS, DNV, BV, GL, LR, RINA etc. as well as Marine Administrations and Authorities.

On board surveys

We provide door and hatch surveys and maintenance on board throughout Europe to ensure that your closures meet the requirements of the latest regulations. This includes service and repair of pneumatic doors.

Fire doors

Fire resistant door designs must pass stringent tests to be certified for use. Hellbergs Fire Doors are tested and approved to ISO 3008 with insulation temperature requirement 140/180° C and certified classes EI 30 minutes, EI 60 minutes and EI 120 minutes by Swedcert.

A60 fire class hinged doors constructed to a Lightweight or Standard design, with flush and rebated styles available. The door leafs are reinforced for overhead door closer mounting on either side. Various sill styles are available to suit your installation requirements.

A60 fire class sliding doors constructed to a Lightweight or Standard design. The door leafs are reinforced for overhead hanging on the track. Various sill styles are available to suit your installation requirements. Semi-Watertight and Watertight sliding doors with MCA approval are manufactured and have been tested to a 4 metre column of water from either side. A60 Semi-watertight doors

A60 Semi-watertight doors

A60 fire class semi watertight doors constructed for hinged or sliding operation. The hinged door leafs are reinforced for extra strong door closers and have been tested for providing semi watertightness to 3.5metres water column on the hinged side.

Watertight sliding doors

Sliding watertight doors for pneumatic or electrical operation are approved by the MCA for Large Commercial, Sailing and Motor Vessels up to 80m load line length and will withstand a 4 metre column of water from both sides.
