Fitting & Assembly
Our in-house design capability is called upon to provide manufacturing,
production and distribution solutions for a variety of industries. We design,
assemble, modify and test hydraulic and pneumatic presses and machines.
Of particular note is our experience in the caravan and mobile home industry
providing ingenious production solutions including edge strip cutters, carpet
stretchers, gutter punches and roof truss gang presses. The design of full
turnkey systems including conveyors and product elevators relies on our
fitting shop skills and experience for assembly and testing before site
installation.
Examples of works: Hydraulic press assembly, pneumatic press assembly,
belt & roller conveyors, roof roller machines, assembly jigs, etc.

Door Division
This section carries out the manufacture, assembly and testing of A60 water
tight sliding doors, B class doors and other closures designed for specific
applications. The manufacturing section is self contained to produce doors
and sheet metal fabrications. The other sections within our factory produce
components and parts to support the door division. The facilities in the
door division include: MIG/TIG welding, Spot Welding, forming, framing,
folding, gluing, pressing and furniture fixing. Back

Stock Yard & Stores
We have separate storage areas for ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Storage
for consumables, fixings, electrical tools, lift and shift equipment etc.
The size of our premises allows haulage transport into the covered area
for load/off-load and construction of larger fabrications and machines.

Machining Division
Point Engineering machining division is an essential section of our manufacturing and service divisions, but also stands alone to produce quick turn round items direct to customers. With the variety of machine
tools available, we have the capacity and capability to supply components
on a one-off or batch basis. We will use customer drawings and specifications,
or discuss individual requirements to present drawings for approval before
producing finished items.
Examples of works: Rolling line tools, bearing blocks, hydraulic ram
mount plates, marine door components, load cell mounts, stub axles, drive
shafts, key ways (internal & external), punch and dies, nylon spacers, bore
& key gears, mould tools etc. Back

Machining Services
The machining division provides milling, turning, boring, slotting, hardening
and surface grinding services for a wide range of manufacturing customers
in various industries. Back to Top
Repairs and Refurbishment
Our service engineers call upon the facilities within our own machine shop
to compliment on site work when maintaining production and handling machines.
A fast and quality response is absolutely necessary for keeping down-time
to a minimum and to secure a quick return to production. Back

New components
The
machine shop also produces new components in ferrous and non-ferrous meterials
for the machines we design, build, maintain and refurbish. An increasing
number of customers are using our facility to obtain components for their
own ingenious designs and upgrades. Back
